On a magic carpet ride
I never thought I'd see the day but I'm definitely becoming a bigger fan of flat shoes. Ah, all the unexpected ways in which the coronavirus pandemic has affected us! With my heels firmly out of action for the past 5 months, it's made me keen to expand my flat shoe collection a little more, as my poor espadrilles have been working overtime. Obviously, I turned to my trusty Shein and found these beauties which I think will be a bit of a divider (like marmite). Some of you will hate them, but others will see why I love these quirky Aladdin-esque slippers with mismatching sun and moon embroidery. I think they look a little couture-inspired and I love the design. The neutral colour also means they'll go with loads and since they're flat and open-backed, they're obviously very comfy! On this occasion, I kept to the neutral palette on the bottom half with these cream trousers and then totally threw that out the window on the top half with this bright lime crop tee. I love an angel/cherub print and the lettuce trim on these sleeves is super cute. I don't often wear my hair up but whenever I do, I like to add statement earrings! This time, I went with these pearl wrapped gold hoops. Well, the bigger the hoop...

Sorry to disappoint those of you who fell into the love camp on these shoes - I've just checked and they're sold out! They were from Shein in around June (linked in case you wanted to see if they come back). I didn't want to leave you empty handed though so I've linked 3 gorgeous alternatives.
