Shein, all in

One of the nice little upsides to lockdown is all the money I've saved on eating out, going to the pub and drinking fancy cocktails! Another upside is that you're always at home to accept deliveries (great if your parcel is being delivered by Hermes and would otherwise be shoved in the nearest bin). So while I've managed to move plenty of pennies into my savings account over the last few months, I thought it was about time I treated myself to another batch of new clothes. While I've been ordering plenty of random crap from eBay during lockdown, I haven't actually ordered clothes since my last Shein haul back in February. Obviously a lot of those clothes have gone painfully unseen, but they were very much Spring clothes and I felt in need of some Summer ones. So cue another haul! Sit back, relax and probably grab a cup of tea or coffee (or prosecco) because I've got 29 outfits to share with you...

Jumping straight in, I don't think you can ever have too many cute little black and white tops that go with everything. I love the neckline on this one (it makes the girls look good) and although cap sleeves aren't usually my friend, they work on this top. I also wanted some more things that were work appropriate for the summer. I'll be going back into the office in a week's time and if we get another heatwave like earlier this year, then I realised I didn't have much other than skimpy numbers. I love the sage colour of this pleated skirt and the little thigh split and asymmetric hem gives it a little something special.

You can't go wrong with a cute little playsuit and I have a number that work just as well with sandals on holiday as they do with heels for a night out. So naturally, I had a look for some new ones and fell in love with this striking blue colour. It's a nice slouchy fit so it's mega flattering and the tortoiseshell buttons are a nice finishing touch.

I used to live in my pencil skirts but since I started working at an office with a very relaxed dress code, I've worn them less and less, and opted for A-line styles instead. I think black items are absolute essentials in your wardrobe so I added a new black skirt option to mine, with the buttons making it nicely different from my existing ones. This leopard print blouse is another work purchase and I like that it's white, blue and brown leopard print rather than the classic leopard colour palette.

Same skirt, this time paired with a bodysuit that I was very undecided on. I LOVE fruit prints (as you'll notice further down) and I was obsessed with this one based on seeing it online. But in real life, the colours are much brighter and more neon than they looked on the website, so I was a bit unsure about whether I still liked it or not. But then Ollie said 'is that for Cuba?' and it absolutely sold me on keeping it because how perfect will it look in Havana?

This t-shirt dress is a bit more casual than my normal vibes but I always like to try and branch out a bit and I just loved the colours and print (I think pink and red always look beautiful together). It's probably a bit too short for me to happily wear it out and about on its own but I think it'd look great worn with cycling shorts too so I might give that a try.

Get used to seeing these trousers as they're featured in the next 3 outfits! I love a tailored trouser (as you should know by now) and on every haul, I try and get a pair in a new colour. Lilac is something I loved right at the start of my blog (throwback to 2014) and fashion is cyclic so naturally, I'm loving it again. This pair fit like a glove and are a lovely fabric so I'd highly recommend them (although they might be a bit long on you shorter girls, as they're the right length on me and I'm 5'7/5'8). This top was another cute little holiday option (still hopeful for later in the year) and I like the frilly straps.

When I first unpacked everything and tried it on, I just threw on anything together so this was initially an accident but I'm actually kind of feeling it? Do I look like a fairy? A little bit. Do I hate it? Nope. This belt actually comes with the trousers and I'm glad that I like them just as much with and without it (opens the doors for more outfits). This top was another purchase based off my rediscovered love for lilac and it's a nice fit, nice fabric and I like the butterfly print.

I took the belt back off for the third outfit featuring these trousers, as it made the whole thing look a bit busy due to the tie on the top. This top is so cute and I'm obsessed with the wildflower embroidery. It's pretty short when it's tied how I've done it here, but I tied it one button up so you could style it so it's slightly longer based on what it was going with.

Another work option here! Love the colour, love the print, love spinning round in a circle wearing it so it floats up like I'm in a movie. I added a belt but it was just as nice worn loose.

A couple of favourites for me here. I love outline drawings of faces/women and I love colourblock brights. This t-shirt is properly cute but properly cropped. I wouldn't wear it with jeans for example, but it looks nice with really high waisted shorts or skirts. Like these cobalt blue belted shorts. I've got a bright green pair (also from shein) and I love them and wear them all the time so I have no doubt these will be a loved addition to my wardrobe.

I'm quite liking this newspaper print stuff (even though it is a little weird) so when I saw that this £4.99 bodysuit was down to only £2.49, it was a no-brainer really. It fits really nice too and I think it'll look cool with leather trousers.

I think you have to be careful with blue and white pinstripe. Sometimes it looks really stylish, other times it looks like you're wearing pyjamas. The pyjama risk was the reason that I opted for a pinstripe playsuit over a similar dress that I was looking at and I'm glad I did. This playsuit fits really nice and the belt is attached so it really cinches you in at the waist.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I LOVE angel and cherub print stuff. Despite my collection of it now being fairly healthy, I couldn't resist this little number. The colour is one that I don't have in my wardrobe yet and I like the lettuce edged sleeves. I also thought my denim short collection needed a refresh so I got some new black ones with frayed edges.

Sticking with the denim shorts, this time I added a crossover blouse. I love this style of top because I think they're so wearable for work or to chuck on with some jeans. Low thought but high style is the kind of thing I like! I'm clearly loving this print too, as I got quite a few bits in it!

I find it exhausting online shopping for dresses because obviously I want pretty new dresses in my wardrobe, but there are just so many dress styles that I hate. It's boring having to sift through them all but it all becomes worth it when you find a gem like this! Ruched front panels, lace edged neckline and milkmaid style - love, love, love.

See what I was saying about fruit print? And I liked the orange and pink combo on this t-shirt. And while the top slotted into an already-large collection of white printed t-shirts, these shorts nicely filled a gap in my wardrobe. I don't have any runner style shorts and these khaki ones were a bargain!

These shorts were probably one of the items I was most excited about! Well, technically, they're skorts, but I just love the print and the mix of colours and think they'll look so nice for nights out, holidays and wherever else the wind takes me! The top I was a bit more split on, having already added a few of these puffed sleeved tops to my basket, but I'd been tempted by it on my last haul and the colour won me over in the end.

Jumpsuits are something that I always wish I had more of but always end up ruling out when trying to whittle my basket value down. This time, I stood strong on the idea that I needed a new one in my collection and I thought this navy one was perfect. It's a really nice thin crinkle fabric so it's not too thick for summer but it'll still work when the weather gets cooler. It also has cute stripy buttons and I love the fit of it.

Another little wardrobe essential I felt that I was lacking was a black bardot top so this one went straight in my basket! As did this skirt, because I love my leopard print version of it so much. This floaty style that's higher on one side is just such a winner for me.

See what I meant about the fruit print? And I didn't feel even a tiny bit guilty about ordering a couple of similar prints because all the tops are such different styles. This mega floaty option is one that makes me feel one step closer to walking down a beach at sunset! Another holiday/summer essential is denim shorts and as I mentioned, I wanted some new options. These are very oversized so they'll need a belt (I upsized but I needn't have) but I love the level of distressing on them.

Sticking with the denim shorts and very much sticking with the lilac obsession, I got another cute little strappy top. I don't normally like this elasticated body style but I liked the crochet trim and little keyhole detail enough to overlook that fact.

See what an essential they are? Already making up 3 outfits just from this haul! Okay so I did get a lot of cute little white tops (some might say too many) but I couldn't resist this one! The cute little floral emrboidery and the open back? Both get a yes from me.

It wouldn't be a summer haul without a little strapless playsuit that you can imagine yourself throwing on over a bikini to go for lunch. This is definitely that and I love the print!

I'm really loving these corset style tops with the piping and I thought this was a great option as you can wear the sleeves up (like capped sleeves) or down (as more of a bardot). I'm not keen on the frilled bit at the bottom but I think with trousers it still works! Like these trousers, which I went with because of how much I love the wide leg ones I have already.

Another dreamy playsuit! Seriously if you're in the market for one (or many) then I'd highly recommend a look on shein. This black and red print is beautiful and I like the halter neck fit. It does come with a tie belt but I thought it looked loads better with a proper one!

See I clearly love this print. I'm definitely a lover of shorts over skirts, especially in this picnic-orientated reality we now find ourselves in. You can never have too many pairs of cute printed shorts and these will work for day and night. Like in this night time outfit, paired with this one-shoulder top which I just think is so stylish. The dotty mesh and sweetheart neckline is just a winner.

Another pair of tailored trousers in a shade slightly different from any already in my collection! I love this warm rusty colour (although the name doesn't make it sound too appealing) and I like the tie belt and cropped length of this pair. I also picked up another of these corset style tops, in very much the opposite style this time - bright and printed!

Same trousers but this time with my favourite item from the whole haul! I took a risk by ordering this top in a small (I get everything in a medium normally) because they were sold out in my size but I loved it too much not to get it. It reminds me of a lipsy dress that I got for my 13th birthday and was obsessed with for years (I still have it even though it doesn't even nearly fit me anymore). I love broderie anglaise and think this off-the-shoulder style is just too cute.

This one was Ollie's favourite (for probably obvious reasons) and I like to think of it as an Oh Polly dress at a fraction of the cost. I've wanted a satin dress for a while and teal was always going to be my choice - I just love jewel tones and think this dress looks a million dollars.
