Find me under the palms

I feel like my style has come full circle. So far, this summer's wardrobe is consisting of chunky sandals and printed skirts and shorts that are very remnant of summer 2014 (the first one documented on my blog). So I'm back to looking like an 18 year old basically? I mean, I've got my 18 year old figure back too (this skirt is now considerably looser than when I first wore it in Croatia 2018). I can't exactly say I'm mad. Especially since I love this skirt so much. It's a great summer wear because not only does it have this gorgeous red, yellow and navy palm print, but it's also super thin and comfortable in the heat. It also lends itself to going well with a range of different colours but I went with white on this occasion and paired it with zigzag strap white vest and chunky white sandals. I've had a number of pairs of these sandals in my time, with 2 or 3 generations of both the black and white versions (my first white pair famously got ruined after a foam party in Magaluf that left the velcro beyond repair). This particular pair were from new look and are ridiculously comfortable; I like that the velcro fastening doubles back on itself so you don't have to worry about it coming unstuck as you walk. I didn't think one dose of palm leaves was quite enough for this outfit so I added a second helping by finishing the look with these giant gold palm leaf earrings.
