A winning combination

There are a number of colour combinations that I consider elite. Navy and orange. Baby blue and beige. Black and white (of course). But none of them quite come close to what I consider the ultimate colour combination; blush pink and red. It works no matter the season because blush pink is perfect for the spring/summer months and red tones (especially the darker burgundy ones) are perfect for the autumn/winter months. These trousers, for example, are one of my A/W staples and since I've lost a stone of weight in the last 6 months, they fit me even better this winter than they did last year! I love the slightly short leg (I think you call it a 7/8 length) because they just show off your shoes a tiny bit more than a standard cut; on this occasion I went with nude pointed court heels (from Aldo). Because you really can't go wrong with a pair of them can you? Plus, they nicely coordinated with the blush pink top and gucci floral scarf, which took the outfit from plain-jane to well-dressed-wendy. I finished the look with my chocolate brown mac coat and velvet teddy lipstick.
