New spot, same me

And that's it, I'm now officially, fully moved out of my parents house. Granted, I moved out 2 months ago. But while I still had blog posts to write with photos that were taken there, it wasn't official. And now, all the photos moving forward have been (and will be) taken in my own house! My own house where I have strategically left a massive bare white wall to form the perfect back drop for my outfit photos. It doesn't currently have the perfect lighting because the new fitting hasn't been put up yet (*ahem* dad *ahem*) but it's getting there. And while my outfit backdrop is progressing forwards, my outfit choice has actually regressed backwards, because this skirt is one I've had for 5 years. I bought in from H&M in America and it was pretty much the first piece of workwear that I ever purchased (before I started my internship). Now, I have more pencil skirts than one girl could ever need, but this one has always been a firm favourite because it just takes the edge over my ASOS ones in the figure-flattering department. It's also nice to be able to wear it comfortably again. I bought it when I was 18 so obviously my weight has changed since then. But this year, I've managed to lose nearly a stone of weight without really trying to (I also only have 3 day periods, so it's pretty nice knowing I'm one of God's favourites). So I'm wearing the skirt again and loving it as much as the first day I bought it! This time, I dressed it down a little with a slogan tee (new look) and chunky cut-out boots (missguided).
