You reds

It's been a very red weekend for me, whether that be down to my outfit or otherwise. Although considering this is still primarily a fashion blog, we'll start with the outfit parts shall we? After not seeing each other for like a whole month, me and Sophia were finally reunited for a girls night out on Friday! I bought this pair of shorts (that look more like a skirt) ages ago but have rarely worn them. However, I wore them on holiday and was really feeling them, so hence they earned themselves a night on the town! I added floral mesh bodysuit, bargain zebra print heels (super comfy and only £12.50 in the ASOS sale), plus red lipstick (obviously).

The actual night out looked like it might be a worrying failure, after we went to Slug and Lettuce AND Alto and both were empty and giving off a creepy vibe (not ideal). So we decided to head to Hockley and stumbled on this little gem on the way. The Secret Garden is one I've been seeing more and more about on Instagram lately and it didn't disappoint. Lovely little terrace area, good music and jenga on all the tables; we had a very tense game that lasted longer than we both expected!

I was feeling kind of hungover when I woke up on Saturday morning but there was no time for that because I had to come up with another red outfit. This time, it wasn't just a wardrobe choice but a tactical marketing one too because I was off to the football. Instructed that everyone would be casual, I went against my very nature and dressed casually (although everyone said I still wasn't that casual). I went with red denim skirt, white embroidered top, white trainers and white queen bee bag.

I've only ever been to one football game before and that was in Barcelona at Camp Nou. But now my company is the back of shirt sponsor for Nottingham Forest, I figured it was time to become a sports fan! And I can certainly get on board with the VIP experience in the exec boxes - we got a lovely lunch, a great view and didn't have to worry about the ball hitting you in the face if it went out (bonus). And even though Forest ended up loosing, it was still a fun day out. I can't say you'll catch me in my Forest shirt very often but it was super exciting to see everyone else in theirs (with our logo on).
