Bloom with a view

I was kind of hoping that this would be the last of my transitional wardrobe and that summer would soon be well and truly upon us but judging by todays weather (I got drenched even walking from my front door to my car), I'm not counting on it. But lucky for me, my transitional wardrobe is full of beautiful pieces, so it's not the end of the world if I have to keep making the most of them for a little longer. Like this mustard blouse! I just love the colour and think the slightly vintage style with the frilled collar is a cute touch. Mustard can be kind of a hard colour to work with; pair it with too much black and you're looking at FULL bumble bee vibes. So I wore dark blue jeans and then added an extra splash of mustard with these floral print boots. Even though I've been enjoying some jacket-free days lately, I added my black trench coat to finish the look (with only mild bumble bee vibes going on).
