All khakied out

As a long-time reader, you'll know that I go through colour phases; certain shades that I love and become obsessed with for a short time. However, there are also colours that I never fall out of love with; the long term ones that I can rely on again and again. Khaki falls into the latter category and it's a shade that I never get bored of. I've had these trousers for ages now and yet they remain flattering, smart/casual and so easy to style things with. On this occasion, I wore them with white roll neck sleeveless top (not the most practical of items) and black and white court heels. I wasn't finished there with the khaki though, as I finished with my camo printed fur coat that incorporates a couple of extra shades of green. You'd think a statement printed fur coat wouldn't go with a lot but it's surprisingly versatile. And seeing as how I bought it with a gift card that I got from my old job one Christmas, it was also free. That always makes clothes better.
