Go haul or go home
Apparently, along with booking multiple holidays and going on multiple nights out last weekend, I also thought it wise to deliver another near-fatal blow to my bank account by doing some online shopping (I can't be stopped). As you may remember me saying, SheIn is my latest favourite online shop because they have such a wide range and everything is dirt cheap. Instead of doing flat lays of my latest buys, I thought this time I'd do a lookbook, with my new bits worked into outfits with some pieces I already own. All the new stuff is linked but because the other stuff is old, I haven't linked that (sorry!) But if you haven't checked out this website yet then what are you waiting for?
Me and mustard yellow have been having a love affair for quite some time now and it shows no signs of slowing down. I already have a mustard yellow top but it's more of a tight, crop top so I wanted one that would go with more and that I could wear for work. This blouse is a lovely fabric and I love the slight bell sleeves. I also got myself yet MORE leopard print with this skirt. It's a pencil style but not super tight at the bottom so there's a lot of move-ability and the length is great for both work and the time of year.

I was trying to make a mental note to stop buying all-animal-print everything (because when it inevitably goes out of style again, I don't want to be stuck with a whole wardrobe full) but I couldn't resist this top. It's in a really nice stretchy fabric, the snake print totally embodies perfect Autumnal colours and it has the kind of V neckline that I really like. Plus it was only £6.99!

I've said it before but I'm not massive on knitwear. I dread this time of year when all the shops fill with the stuff because as far as I'm concerned, it's a boring purchase and they all look the same. However, every blue moon I do actually find pieces that I love. This jumper was one of them because I really like the fine knit and lace trim at the neckline. The colour is slightly different than it looked online (it looked like a chocolate brown but is more of a dark rusty red) but it's such a soft fabric and I like the slouchy fit.

I'm struggling to pick which of the 3 new items in this outfit is my favourite. Let's start from the bottom and go up. I always love this style of boot with stiletto heel and pointed toe because they offer the same comfort of a normal heeled boot but look super fierce and easily dress up even the dullest of outfits. This pair have some nice buckle details and fit super snugly so if you're a little inbetween sizes then I'd suggest sizing up. On to the skirt and my love of red (like my love of mustard) is going nowhere. I think this skirt will be great for both day and night because it can easily be dressed up or down and it's that amazing stretchy denim fabric. And as for the coat, I can't believe what a good deal I got. My coat collection is one of dreams and it's so extensive that I only have to add maybe one new coat a year now and this year I really wanted an aviator one. I like that they're thick and wintery without being faux fur (I have plenty of them) but still with a short length (because I've got a lot of long ones already). I shopped around and the going rate seemed to be about £50 for them, (which I was willing to pay) but then I checked SheIn and found this one for only £25! It's a really nice quality with a furry fleece inside and suede outside and I like the black and cream combination. It goes to show that shopping around pays off!

Any eagle eyed instagram followers will note that this outfit wasn't just a try-on but it ended up being what I wore out on Saturday too - I just loved these trousers so much I didn't want to change! They're a super thin fabric and they fit nicely with a high waist and slightly short leg. The print is the best part though. Largely this nice warm brown colour, the checked lines are made up of a mix of white and dark blue, both with a marbled look. I have a feeling I'll be wearing these trousers a lot in the coming months!
