Goodbye my summer, goodbye my friend
I'm sorry but I am so not with all you pumpkin spice basic bitches who keep tweeting about how excited you are for hot chocolate and cuddles and cold weather. I am SO not happy that summer is ending (well, maybe already ended) and am nostalgic for a time when we were all drinking every day in the sun singing 'it's coming home'. When it comes to my wardrobe, I will be especially sad to retire these lace up chunky sandals for another year. And the colours! Whatever season it is, I will always be obsessed with this skirt, with its crochet florals and bursts of bright coral. I wore it on this occasion with black bardot top with added straps and finished with a double layer gold coin necklace.
Even with the weather turning colder, I'm still finding ways to keep my summer wardrobe alive though. I don't feel quite at the boots or jacket stage yet so I'm still rocking the sleeveless look with all my prettiest heels. I echoed my more summery look by sticking with the crochet florals; this black and white top doesn't get out much because it fits weirdly at the bottom but I thought it worked well with these trousers. The trousers which also keep the bright coral love going strong! I finished the look with grey strappy heels to make the most of being able to have my toes out before it gets even colder! RIP summer, it's been a good one...
