Hello haul

As I always do before a holiday, I've been treating myself to a few bits! I also ordered 4 new skirts from PLT that I was waiting for to write the blog post but as anyone who orders from there will know, they have been a pile of shit recently. So I'm still waiting on my order to arrive 10 days later and I thought I might as well blog about the things that I do have. As you know, I was in London a couple of weeks ago with Katie and we went on a little shopping trip down Oxford street. I like shopping in Forever 21 in London because we don't have one here and their website sort of stresses me out so I never bother looking but they actually had some nice things in. I got a black and yellow print off the shoulder top (which I cannot find anywhere on their website so it's not in the photos sorry) which I thought would be really cute for holiday. I love wide leg trousers at the moment and I think the green pink and white colour combination of this pair are really cool. I've also wanted a lace bodysuit for ages and keep buying them but they end up either too see through, too short, or too cheap looking. Well Forever 21 finally answered my prayers with this black one. It's double mesh on the boobs so it's not see through and it's a great balance of lingerie and clothing. Plus it was less than £20! Then into Primark and despite wanting to tear my own head off with annoyance and impatience at the sheer hordes of people in there, I actually got some nice things. I did a much-needed stock up on essentials (hair clips, hair bobbles, knickers, earrings, tit tape) and then got these amazing purple culottes (which I wore on bank holiday). They have an elasticated waistband at the back so they're super comfy and they're the perfect length and cut. Plus they were only £10! I'm also loving the animal print trend at the moment so I got this leopard print denim skirt. It's really short though but I figure on holiday it won't matter. Then when I got home, I wasn't all shopped out so I did some online shopping too. Since I'd found the perfect black lace bodysuit, I still wanted the perfect white lace one. And I found it on Lasula, who just so happened to be having a massive sale! So I also got these red skorts because I'm having a moment with bright red. When I left my old job, one of my presents was a £40 gift card that can be used in loads of different shops. So I worked some magic to get my New Look order to as close to (but under) £40 as humanly possible. I managed £39.76 which I thought was pretty good! In my order was this white bardot top which I am obsessed with and which I think will be perfect for Croatia. I also got this camel and black top because I love a good wrap style. I'm loving the trend of wearing scarves as headbands so I bought this leopard print one (and we'll see how wearing it actually goes) and then made up the remaining money with gold coin earrings and a pack of gold rings.

Like I always do, I also treated myself to some makeup. Basically my benefit eyebrow pencil ran out and instead of forking out £20 for a new one, I thought I'd see if there were any that looked good in Superdrug. Of course, Revolution didn't let me down. With the same shaped pencil as the Goof Proof one, this Revolution version was only £2.50! I also needed a brow gel and this Take a Brow one by Barry M has a really nice small brush. I got another mascara (my fave) and yet more lipsticks; Revolution lipstick in the shade Class, and Revolution Pro liquid lipstick in Affection. I've also been eyeing up this Revolution x Soph Extra Spice palette for a while so I decided to take the plunge and I wasn't disappointed. I love a palette of brights and this mix of purples, yellows and greens is perfect, although it does look very different in real life as oppose to online.
