Holiday hauling

I've actually managed to be pretty restrained over the last few months in terms of my clothes shopping. Well, restrained for me, I've still probably been spending more on clothes than the average person. But with my main priority now being holidays, I've been spending less and less on clothes. However, the two sometimes go hand in hand and with my summer holiday to Menorca coming up next week, I thought it was time to treat myself to a few bits in anticipation. I think you could own 100 bikinis and would still need to buy more each summer and out of all the places I was looking for them, I thought that Pretty Little Thing had the nicest (and most reasonably priced) ones. I've had my eye on this strapless leopard print one for ages and it has been forever sat on my shopping list and at only £18 it was a total bargain. I'm even happier with it than I thought I would be because it's super flattering and it's always good to have strapless options for optimum tanning. I also fell in love with the palm leaf print of this green and white one. I really like the knotted top, although the bottoms seem like they might be a skimpy so we'll see how these do when I'm actually going in and out of the pool! I have also been a sucker for chain print ever since I was looking for my Morocco wardrobe earlier this year and I think a triangle bikini with tie-side bottoms is always good for tanning too. I nearly bought another 2 bikinis but I drew the line at 3 and instead had a look for some clothing bits. It was love at first sight for this playsuit; I love the colours and the stripe print and I didn't realise when I bought it but it's actually a multiway style, meaning there's a few different ways you can tie the top half. I've seen a few slogan tops with this really pretty, loopy handwriting style and I knew I had to have one. I didn't want any of the ones that literally say 'pretty little thing' on them but I did love this one that says 'bring me sunshine'. However, it's part of their plus size range and I couldn't find it smaller anywhere so I decided to just get it in the smallest size available (16 - despite me being a size 10) and wear it as an oversize one instead. Which I actually really like! Being bigger, it fits nice and oversized on the top (although it is a bit too long) but it looks great tucked in to shorts and skirts!

A long-standing favourite shop of mine is, of course, New Look and so armed with a 20% off code that was expiring that day, I set about to order myself a few bits. I love a long sleeve playsuit and I don't think you can beat them for holiday evenings. This red scarf print one is really cute and I'm obsessed with the flared frill sleeves. Again, I fell in love with a slogan top that was only available in big sizes but I bought this 'sweeter than honey' one anyway (again, size 16) but it's not actually too oversized so I can easily get away with it. I hadn't noticed on the photo but it's got a tiny embroidered gold bee on the end of the slogan which is such a cute detail! I also think that New Look shoes are some of the best and are often pretty comfy. When I saw these black and white shoes, I thought there was something very Chanel about them and with me already owning the exact same pair in red-orange, I knew they were comfy! It's been a pretty long time since I've been raving about co-ords in my blog (throwing it back to 2014 vibes) but this one, I love. I had previously bought the exact same skirt from PLT about a month ago but when it arrived, the fabric was weird, it was way too short and way too tight so I sent it back. Then when I saw the same on New Look but in a scuba fabric, I knew I just had to have it. Despite sports luxe not being my usual style, I love the khaki and red combo and although I'm thinking I might not actually wear them together, I loved the matching bralet too so decided to get the set!
