Shine bright like a diamond

I'm never one to shy away from making a statement in bright colours but even more so in summer, I think it's nice to make the most of your colour block items. And who says that brights aren't versatile? It's easy to dress them up in different ways for different occasions!

I've had this top for ages now but have weirdly never worn it. I think it's meant to be more of a bardot, across-the-shoulder top but that style didn't look right on me without sleeves so I wore it as a square neck instead. I think it's good to pair colour block with print so I went with striped culottes and then added a white duster jacket over the top. This was my outfit for a day of running around London so I actually made a sensible decision and wore flats, going with my trusty espadrilles.

Obviously pink will always hold a special place in my heart and these trousers are one of my favourite pairs because I just love the fit. They make quite a statement so I kept the rest black and white with black crochet top with white collar, black and white strappy court heels, with a black blazer and then finished with a bright lipstick; Bad Habit by Colourpop.

Who said you can't outfit repeat? I'll do it twice in the same blog post and not even care. This time, I wasn't running around London but tottering around my office so I swapped the espadrilles for statement red-orange heels and ditched the jacket and I was good to go. I, of course, finished with a lipstick and opted for my all-time favourite, Taupe by MAC.
