I'm a little bit country

It's no secret that I am a ruthless giver-away-of-clothes. I routinely have wardrobe clear-outs and my rule is that if I haven't worn it in over 6 months (the last time it was the current season) then it goes. And yet, even I can get attached sometimes and so very occasionally, clothes that I very rarely wear make it through the culling process. Case and point is this blazer. I must've bought it when I was in my first year of college (2012) and I bought it from Ark (a show of the times, given that it's not even there in town anymore). At the time, I was obsessed with the tweed fabric and leather sleeves with suede elbow patches - a very made in chelsea sort of staple. And yet, it barely went with anything so I hardly ever wore it. And yet each time it came around to getting rid of stuff, it just seemed to survive again and again and I couldn't part with it. Well, all good clothes deserve to feel loved and to have a trip out every once in a while. So I went with this very countryside-inspired outfit of the blazer, with botanical print crop top, black jeans and brown suede boots. I finished with Mehr lipstick and took my photos before heading to my city centre job - not so country after all?
