Hot or not?

I'm a very opinionated person and I tend to either love things or hate them. I'm not a fan of wishy-washy emotions so I thought I'd share with you a few things I've been loving and hating this week.

First of all, I've been loving holiday shopping for Morocco. This time next week I'll be there and so get ready to see me in all the scarf prints, all the culottes and all the bright colours. Plus, the bonus to going at this time of year is that the summer clothes are all pretty cheap!

I've also been loving the Celebrity Bake Off for Stand up 2 Cancer. I actually couldn't believe how hilariously badly some of them went, Nick Hewers creations in particular!

I'm also in love with the Kylie Cosmetics Velvet lip kits. The velvet formula is amazing and I know my bank account won't appreciate it, but I'll definitely have to buy some more!

Another thing that I've been loving this week is feeling like a grown up. It may seem like a strange one but lately, me and my friends have been having sophisticated dinner parties round at each others houses, rather than going out for food. This week, it was big Katie's turn (for any new readers, big Katie gets her name by default because little Katie is small, as oppose to because she is big) and it was extra exciting because it was the first one in her new flat and we've been ripping it out of her for weeks about not being able to cook so the pressure was on. And she didn't disappoint! We had mozzarella dippers followed by DIY chicken burritos, followed by millionaires cheesecake and it was amazing! Plus she gets a 10/10 for the table decoration because everything looked super pretty and she put in loads of effort.

Something I've not been loving however is this illness that I just can't shake. I've been ill since last Friday and it's now the Sunday after and I'm still dying a little bit. Seriously, this is not a reasonable amount of time to be ill for and I am so over it.

Another thing I hate is something that will ring true for pretty much all office workers. How is it that people spell your name wrong by email when it is right there in front of them, both in your email address and in your email sign off?! And yet people still continue to put 'Hi Jenny' - I don't understand what's so hard!

Another one is a trend that I am already so over. These getting-to-know-me instagram stories that everyone has become obsessed with are so annoying. No one cares if you prefer winter or summer, or  what the last thing you watched on TV was. Can you all just stop now please.

And another thing that I am so not here for is the snow. I hate the snow. Most people like the first day or so and then get sick of it but I literally hate it from the very first sign of it falling. And especially now that we're in LATE March and we've just had another fresh bout of the stuff, it's safe to say that I'm glad I'll be out the country in a week!
