Wet january
Okay so it's not exactly like I was even bothering to attempt Dry January, but I was semi-consciously not going out and trying to save a bit of money and have a couple of weeks off. That was until this weekend anyway, when all of that went out the window. It was Chantelle's 21st birthday on Friday night, and so we, along with loads of the other McDonalds girls who I haven't seen in ages, went for cocktails and prosecco at the Slug & Lettuce and then ended up in Pryzm. I may not be the world's most practical dresser but I'm not a masochist either and so nights out in January for me will always involve long sleeves. This slinky long sleeve bodycon dress is one of my favourites and I wore it with my standard black boots and new queen bee embellished bag. I also used my new Lorac mega pro 3 palette to create a rose gold eye makeup look, and then finished with Persistence lipstick and statement earrings. We had such a good night and as you can probably tell by our photo booth snaps, we were all total messes!
Surprisingly though, I wasn't too hungover so after a lazy day spent in bed, I went for a few spontaneous cocktails with little Katie. We started at Bendigo where I had a couple of my latest favourite thing - a long island iced tea but with cranberry instead of coke, and then we went to the Jesse Boot, hoping to play pool. However, the pool table was shut when we got there (boooo) but when a large wine was only £3.40 you can hardly complain!
