Christmas jumpers, clubbing and catch ups

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at my office and so this weekend was kicked off with some early festivities! Not only did Elf on the Shelf make an appearance, but we also had an early Christmas Jumper Day because the official Save the Children one clashes with our Christmas party. So not only was everyone looking festive but everyone was feeling festive too thanks to our annual gifts from the firm (£175 gift card and a chocolate orange oh yeaaah) and Christmas treats (you can't beat drinking at lunch time on a Friday). So of course, once we'd had a couple of shot glasses full of prosecco, we wanted to go for another drink so we went out at lunch time to the Christmas market in town for yorkshire pudding wraps (omg amazing) and a drink at the ski lodge bar (which was just the cutest).

Then after a hair dye refresh on Friday night and a super productive Saturday of Christmas shopping, I got ready for Katie's birthday night out. It was literally freezing so I figured 3/4 lace sleeves would keep me nice and warm (ha, next joke) and opted for this green lace dress from missguided. I've had this dress for a couple of years now and love it just as much as when I first bought it - especially at this time of year! I did a dark smokey eye (with highlighter on the inner part of my eyelid, which is my latest favourite thing) and wore Persistence lipstick. Then after some drinks at Katie's we headed in to town and went straight to Roxy Ballroom (which is fairly new). We thought it'd be a great idea to play beer pong because it gets you really drunk but we forgot to factor in that it only gets you drunk if you can actually land any of the balls in the cups - it's safe to say we were rubbish! But it was good fun and they had a photo booth so we got a super cute photo too. Then we went on to Mojo, Be at One and Filthies before ending the night in the takeaway (of course).

Then after literally not moving from my bed on Sunday (partly due to the fact it was freezing but mostly due to the fact I was hungover) and spending Monday back at work, me and the girls went round to our friend Charlie's for a long-needed catch up and a massive Chinese takeaway (which was amazing). It was also really cute to see her kids, who have grown loads since we last saw them. I may not like most children but I do like babies and Charlie's are super cute. Although when the Chinese arrived, I passed her straight back to Staci because food comes first!
