An english rose

I am not someone who is minimalistic or unmaterialistic; I like to have lots of pretty things. So when I find an item of clothing I like, I tend to go mad and get it in every colour. Which is the case with this skirt. And this blouse. And these shoes. Oops. The skirt is another of my absolute must-haves from ASOS - if you work in an office, I would highly recommend them because they fit really nicely but without being too figure-hugging or unflattering, they're the perfect length as even when they ride up (when you're walking around etc), they're still not flashing anything inappropriately and they go with everything. When they have the colours available, I also prefer to buy from the petite range because they're slightly shorter and tighter so they just fit me a bit better, as with this navy one. Likewise, you can't go wrong with court heels so I have a pair in pretty much every colour. This navy pair are actually a shorter heel than I'd normally go with but it means they're super comfortable and they were from primark so they were only £10! As we dip back in to Autumn, I'm getting back in to Autumn styling and at the minute I'm loving shirts with the sleeves rolled up (I'm also wearing a shirt with the sleeves rolled up right now). I have this wrap around style with a side tie in 3 different colours now and I have to say that this one is my favourite. I love the colour rose because it's not quite as garish as a bright pink but it's still got that lovely feminine finish. It also matches perfectly with Taupe lipstick which, as I'm sure you know by now, is my all-time favourite. I completed the look with stone skater mac jacket (which you'll be pleased to hear, I don't own in every colour under the sun) and mixed silver and rose gold jewellery (to keep it going with the rose theme) - I wore my Olivia Burton queen bee watch and my Tiffany necklace.
