All wrapped up
It may be less than a month until Christmas and I may be pretty organised this year but even I'm not that good. So despite the title, this is not a Christmas-gift-related blog post, but a workwear one instead! And one of my favourite wardrobe staples is a wrap blouse, which I've been loving and living in lately...
Florals for spring/summer is such an oppressive way of thinking - florals are forever. This poppy print wrap blouse is a favourite of mine because I love a 3/4 sleeve and it matches my favourite red lipstick perfectly (Chili by MAC). I paired it with a nude pencil skirt, black court heels (with pretty marble heel detail) and black jacket.
I have this wrap blouse in 3 different colours (because a girl has to have choice) but on this occasion, I went with the grey one and paired it with pink pencil skirt (a classic colour combination). The outfit was pretty plain so I added a printed jacket and statement shoes - these are one of my higher pairs and they take me up to almost 6 foot!
Obviously it wouldn't be autumn dressing without some classic autumn colours thrown in - like this detective-style coat in a gorgeous warm tan. This topshop wrap blouse was such a good buy because not only do the tan stripes match this coat, but I love that the other stripes are navy instead of black. I finished the look with navy pencil skirt and black boots with acrylic tan heel - matchy matchy!
