Hey I put some new shoes on

Hands up who else is having an amazing bank holiday weekend so far! Although I'm less happy about the fact that this is the last one of the year (obviously Christmas bank holidays don't count) so after this, we have to last all the way until next Easter before we get a proper one again! So in an aim to make the most of it, along with going out on Friday night and going out for a meal on Saturday (which I may or may not do a blogpost about once the weekend is over), this morning I went out for brunch with Laura. We went to Copper in town for brunch ages ago but they've changed their menu since then and are now also offering bottomless brunch for £15 for 90 minutes - so I figured it'd be rude not to! I went with mimosas (after drinking loads of prosecco yesterday and not being in the mood for it again at half 10 in the morning) and they're really good at topping you up the second you run out so it's really good value. The breakfast itself was also amazing; I got pancakes with strawberries, bacon and syrup and Laura got Columbian eggs with salsa, guac and smoked salmon. Even though we headed out quite early (for a sundays standard), it was already pretty hot so I went with a burgundy shirt dress. I feel like I've been living in shirts at the minute but they're just really good for relaxed weekend style. Because my dress was plain, I went with bold printed accessories! These strappy floral shoes are my latest purchase (and obsession) and they're super pretty and were only £9 from missguided! They do really hurt (as most of my shoes do), but sometimes beauty is pain. I also added my gucci-dupe bag and then finished with a glossy nude lipstick. Normally with this dress, I would go for a deep berry coloured lip but given it was early, hot and summery, and we were going for breakfast, I wanted something lighter and went with my YSL rouge volupte lipstick in the shade 3.
