Woah we're going to Ibiza... Back to the island!

As you probably realised from my instagram, I've just got back from yet another holiday! I think it's important to keep filling my monthly quota of holidays - it's good for the soul. This time it was back to Ibiza for a second year running to party the week away and get some serious tanning time in. The partying kicked off at a very bright and early 5am at the airport before our 6am flight (getting up that morning was not easy).

This year it was just me and Katie (the other 3 couldn't make it due to holiday allowance at work or money) and we stayed at the Hotel Pacific which we were both really impressed with! It was in the perfect location (right next to the egg roundabout for anyone who knows Ibiza) and the holiday (flights and hotel for a week half board) cost us £500 each. I won't let this slip in to a TripAdvisor review (I also write those though and will be doing that next) but the food was amazing and they had a really good selection, the pool was really nice and the hotel was full of young people just like us so there was music round the pool in the day and a really chilled vibe (although there were people running around the corridors 24/7). And they had koppaberg on tap so what more could you really want?!

Mostly we spent the day times just chilling around the pool (in a selection of bright missguided bikinis) but we did a couple of walks round the San Antonio bay which was like 5 miles to go there and back! Although there is a water slide round the bay so we transformed back in to little kids and went "again, again" and ended up going on it 6 times each! We also went out for some really nice lunches including one at Ibiza Rocks and then tapas at The Orange Corner, where I also finally tried an Aperol Spritz! My verdict: nice but I would've preferred a frozen daiquiri.

After stocking the room up with the essentials (vodka, pringles and maryland cookies of course), we spent our first night out on the West End strip. I wore this bright orange missguided bodysuit (subtlety is my thing obviously) with printed river island shorts and white sandals. And after I tell you that we did 2 tequila shots each in the first bar after half a litre of vodka at the hotel and then another 2 double vodkas each, you'll understand why there's not much to report on from the first night! But then on to the second night and we headed out much earlier to go to the sunset strip; we famously missed the sunset every day last year so we wanted to make sure we'd see it this time! For the second night, I wore printed shorts, black bralet with cross over straps and black lace up chunky heels. So after stocking up on some drinks and securing ourselves a spot on the wall (we were not about to pay a minimum of €65 EACH just for the privilege of sitting in Cafe del Mar), we finally saw the famous sunset! We'd been really unorganised this year because we both have such busy lives and hadn't seen eachother much, we literally hadn't planned a single night. Luckily, the universe decided to help us out and sent us a promoter for the new club Hi (which used to be Space and has now been bought by Ushuaia) and he told us all about everything that was going on through the week and helped us decide on all the nights we wanted to do - it was like having a personal holiday planner! Then we had a drink at Mambo's before heading to the West End again (we both came out of that second night with a few more memories than the first one).

The guy we met obviously had us down to a tee within 10 minutes of meeting us because he said he thought we'd like Glitterbox at Hi the best - a disco night with throwback songs and extra sparkle. Are we that transparent? But he thought right; we got all glittered up for our Friday night and headed to Playa d'en Bossa. I wore a tropical embroidered bralet (primark) under this rose gold missguided bralet and then added denim shorts and converse. Plus all the glittery make up of course! I wasn't too keen on Space last year and it was definitely my least favourite night but the place looks amazing now! You can tell they've spent billions on it. Apparently they spent about £80,000 just on disco balls for a club night that's only on once a week! But it did look amazing - there were tee-pees on the terrace, a slide down from VIP and a dedicated Tequila bar outside (which of course is always a good idea as far as I'm concerned). And we even bumped in to my friend Abi in there, who was in Ibiza the same week as us, which was really nice!

Then on saturday night, we decided to go to Elrow at Amnesia because it's such a famous night and we wanted to see what it was all about! This time, I wore floral shorts, black bandeau bralet and gold bodychain. Annoyingly, we ended up waiting an hour and a half to get in! We did make some queue friends but I do wish we'd gone earlier and just bought tickets instead of going with the wristbands we had which didn't end up getting us in cheaper and only meant we waited longer. It was such a cool night though - a bit weird but I'm definitely glad we went. We didn't stay until the end though and we went for a drink on the West End before going home, in a bar that had UV lights so we looked very strange! Especially my hair! I actually can't believe how blonde the sun sent my hair while we were away.

Like last year though, Ushuaia was right up there among my best nights! It's just so different to everything else and we went for Kygo this year so it was amazing. I've only wore this playsuit one other time which was also in Ibiza but I love it so much! It's from River Island and is such a perfect holiday piece. Last year when we went to Ushuaia (knowing how expensive drinks are in there), we'd snuck vodka in in our knickers but the little bottles are only a double basically so there wasn't too much point. But this year, we went with a trick learned from Katie's sister (who's worked 4 or 5 seasons in Ibiza) and we snuck Absinthe in in our knickers instead. It's like 90% and it was only €3 for a little bottle, which is the equivalent of 5 vodkas! So that kept us going nicely until the end, before we went to the rooftop bar on top of the Ushuaia tower, where we pretended to be a little more civilised with a couple of strawberry daiquiris. I say 'pretended' because it wasn't too long before I was falling asleep on the bus back to San Antonio and then throwing up in the street. So civilised - stay classy, never trashy.

And again, just like last year, Ocean Beach was my absolute favourite! I just think you can't beat it because it's totally different to anything you ever do at home and we went to Hed Kandi again which means Lovely Laura was there playing her saxophone and providing all the good vibes. It was amazing this year to meet up with our friend Harley too, who's working a season in Ibiza at the minute, and have a long overdue catch up! Obviously the Ocean Beach outfit is the most important of them all; I bought this Vero Moda swimsuit from ASOS just before we went and I knew it'd be perfect for Ocean Beach because not only is it flattering but it's also orange so it fits perfectly with the theme! I also added lace up chunky heels, black kimono and gold body chain.

Me and Katie both like to do adventurous or adrenaline based things so we decided to send our last night off with a bang by doing a parasailing cruise at sunset. We've both done it before so we knew what to expect but I've only done it in the day and it was much better at sunset - the view was amazing! The fact that we had sangria and cava on board just made it even better! I didn't know whether you were supposed to wear clothes or swimwear so I went straight down the middle with my ASOS marble swimsuit and black denim shorts over the top.

Then we got ready for our last night (sob) - I wore another pretty primark bralet under black mesh bodysuit with light denim shorts and converse. But don't be deceived by the outfit photo - my hair was down for about 10 minutes because the second we got in to Privilege, where Carl Cox was performing his second of only 2 dates this season, I was the sweatiest I've ever been in my life. I genuinely think I would've been cooler sat in a sauna! The club was amazing though, although we did get lost about a hundred times. It is the biggest club in the world though (we weren't just being stupid). We had an amazing last night and Carl Cox was incredible - it's safe to say we didn't want to leave.

Then after getting back and enjoying a whole ONE hours sleep (I could've cried), we headed to the airport feeling rough to say the least. Although the universe decided to bless us with extra leg room seats on the plane (that we hadn't paid for) so sleeping was even easier - we were both asleep before take off! I literally had an amazing holiday and I'm so sad it's over - thanks for an amazing one Kate, it's been a blast!
