Do you suppose she's a wildflower?

I would say that there is a fine line between florals that I love and florals that I hate. The trouble is that even I don't know where that line sits; there's really no rhyme or reason to it! This skirt definitely sits on the side of the line that I love though. I think it's the muted colour palette, spaced out design and wildflower print that keeps it as a firm favourite in my wardrobe. And the fact that it matches so well with blush pink will always be a winner in my book! I love the low back on this blush pink top and I'm obsessed with this blush pink, marble and rose gold watch! Even though it ended up raining (obviously because this is the UK), it was pretty warm so I didn't add a jacket and instead just finished the look with nude heels and Velvet Teddy lipstick.

"Do you suppose she's a wildflower; beautiful, fierce and free? For she is unbound in her unruliness and she smiles knowing that wild is her favourite colour. Like a wildflower, she allows herself to grow in all the places that people thought she never could"

While we're on the subject of wildflowers (what a strange coincidence), I am seriously in love with my new tattoo. If you've been reading/following for the past few months then you will know that all my tattoos are centered around symbolism and each one of them represents a different aspect of my personality/character. For tattoo number 4, I got a hand holding a bunch of wildflowers which symbolises both my free spirit, and my ability to thrive. Wildflowers are beautiful and free but also fierce and defiant - they grow wherever they want to without the approval of others. Wildflowers are also great at weathering the storm; they grow and flourish in places that people never thought they could. I love looking at quotes on pinterest (and a lot of my favourites are related to being wild and chaotic and free) and underneath the photo is a condensed version of all my absolute favourites. I think that since my tattoos are all to do with different parts of my personality, it's also worth noting that I have my tattoos positioned so that they're the right way up to me (my grandma thought I'd have it the other way). I'm not trying to read too much into it but that probably says something about my selfishness and slight narcissism too (psychology degree coming my way I reckon). I am seriously impressed with the tattoo artists work though. I've never had this guy before and the way he's managed to get all the lines so fine and intricate and detailed is just amazing! I won't get ahead of myself just yet but one of the others I've got in pipeline would definitely need his steady hand too!
