Edgier than a circle
I'm not exactly what you'd describe as an edgy person. I don't follow a lot of the hipster instagram trends like fishnet tights pulled all the way up to your waist or corset belts of jumper dresses and my ripper jeans only come out once every blue moon. I tend to go for a more girly, clean-cut, made-in-chelsea style of look, however I was definitely feeling the black ribbon choker and thigh high boots in this outfit. Even though you can pretty much achieve one of these chokers by tying a shoe lace around your neck (as someone on twitter has proved), this one was only like £1 from primark so not exactly a blowout purchase. The plaits actually weren't done because I was going for a certain look but more because I couldn't be bothered to straighten my hair (lazy girl fix 101). With black choker, black boots and black jacket, the outfit was in need of some colour so I livened it up with this grey top with floral detailing on the collar bone - it also has cute cut-out sections that I really like. Then I matched my skirt to the floral bits on my top by going with a pink leather-look mini skirt, and then I finished the look with Calypso Colourpop liquid lipstick, which has a satin finish.
