All bandaged up

A while ago now, some genius invented a way for us women to look endlessly flawless. Slim yet curvy in the right places all thanks to a little invention called Spanx. However, wearing big underwear is not chic (and totally impractical) so someone even cleverer came along and invented bandage material. All the same perks but in the form of dresses, skirts and eventually tops, to help women everywhere look flattered at all times. I have a couple of these bandage skirts from Missguided and I'm so in love with them. At knee length, they're the perfect midi skirt and they fit perfectly! This burgundy one is my favourite because my light pink one is a little less wearable for day-to-day. This one is quite a dark burgundy though so I lightened it up with white top and shoes. I have these strappy tops in black, white and long sleeved because I just love the way they fit so much and it's surprising how much a couple of extra straps can liven up a plain top. Meanwhile, these shoes remain a pair of my favourite yet most painful and hardest to walk in - the inventor of those was definitely not a genius and did definitely not love women. I finished the look off with a splash of print and texture rolled in to one with this faux fur jacket and then Lolita liquid lipstick by Kat Von D.

Shop this post

Okay so I didn't do too well with this shop the look as the only remotely similar jackets I could find were either men's or kids. But in my defense, this is a pretty unique jacket and I did get it a while ago now...
