Goodbye 2016, hello 2017

Happy new year everyone! I hope you all had a new years eve as fabulous as mine because like always, I saw the new year in with a bang!

I don't think there's such a thing as too much glitter on new years eve so I went all out - super embellished dress (from missguided of course) and super glittery eye make up. I went on a bit of a superdrug shopping spree a few days ago and bought loads of new Revolution bits (when they're that cheap I can hardly resist) including a new baked highlighter and a foil finish eyeshadow which is incredible. It was only £3 and it comes with a primer and little mixing tray just like the Stila one which is 10 times the price. I also layered some Barry M glitter dust over the top and added my favourite lashes (Eylure 143) and favourite lipstick (Taupe). I don't know about you but I reckon me and Staci have glowed up since the last time we spent New Years together, which amazingly was 4 whole years ago!

Then once we were a couple of bottles of prosecco down, we headed to the bowery club for their glitter party themed night (obviously they share my opinion on glitter and new years). The place looked amazing and was all decked out with balloons and 2017 streamers hanging from the ceiling (I may or may not have walked in to them a few times). They'd also set up a prime photo-taking spot (obviously Staci took an outfit photo for me for the blog because that's what true best friends do) as well as a cute little photo booth which we made the most of. I love the photos we got, I think they're so cute and I think it's so funny how you can see us getting progressively drunker in each one. We had an absolutely amazing night, got covered in confetti when the clock struck midnight and then partied our way in to 2017. So I left 2016 the exact same way I entered it - absolutely white girl wasted. If the first few hours of 2017 are anything to go by then I think it's going to be an amazing year!
