A leopard doesn't change it's spots

I totally thought I could do it. I really thought I could make it to the end of winter without buying another coat. Well you know, considering I bought one at the end of December and I already have about 200; I really thought that would be enough. But apparently my need to buy new coats is insatiable and so here we are again, trying desperately to cram another new coat onto my forever-strained coat rail. Seriously, it looks so tragic that I'm pretty sure it's going to collapse under the pressure soon. This was kind of an impulse buy and kind of not. I've wanted a leopard print coat for absolutely ages but I only really like the fur ones because I think the print looks tacky on non-fur ones and I'm really picky about the style of leopard print I like - it has to be just so. Then I saw Miss Selfridge tweet the link to this one and fell in love. Perfect print, perfect style and gorgeous ponyskin fabric! And as if that wasn't enough to make me click 'add to basket' (despite the fact that I was checking my phone while having a wee, so the timing wasn't great), it was only £25 down from £89! I'd obviously done something worthy of some good karma that day. I think leopard print can be quite a tricky thing to wear but I decided to embrace it in all it's glory and went full on with high class hooker vibes in this outfit. Well thigh high boots and a leopard print coat don't exactly say virgin mary. But the important thing is that I went with high class hooker, so I may have looked a little like a prostitute but atleast I looked like an expensive one. I've been wearing my thigh high boots to death for the last 3 or 4 winters so I was super upset when the heel broke just before Christmas. But actually, I think I love my new pair even better. I went with the more sock-style boot this time and they're even more slimming on the leg (although they do fall down) and I prefer the pointed toe on these ones. By how much I've gone on about them, you'd think I went out in the coat and boots and nothing else! I added a cream roll neck top, brown suedette skirt and then finished with Lime Crime liquid lipstick in Shroom.
