Stripes all day every day

You may have noticed lately that I'm a bit behind on my blog posts. Either because you've noticed that my posts are going out like once a week (if that) rather than 3 times, or because you've noticed that my hair is still blonde in these photos when in actual fact my hair is a mermaidy colour right now; somewhere between grey, green and blue. But seeing as I still have blonde photos that I haven't got around to writing up yet, I figured I'd do those first. I promise I am trying to get back in to the swing of things with my blog but things have just been hectic lately I feel like the mad run-up-to-christmas social life has started, plus I've just started watching Suits on Netflix and considering I'm already 2 seasons in after like a few days, you can understand why I haven't had time to write anything. Anyway, as you should know by now, I have a bit of a thing for stripes. Okay, a lot of a thing. I just love how timeless they are. This top for example, I think this is the third winter that I've been wearing it and loving it because it just never goes out of style. This time around, I paired it with rust A-line skirt and black boots with acrylic printed heels in the same colour. I added my black jacket and I love how the sleeves of the top are longer than those on the jacket so you can see a bit of the stripey print poking through. I added my Givenchy dupe bag (only £25) and Taupe lipstick.

Same day, same print, different style. When I went out for dinner later that day, I changed outfit but stuck with the stripes. This striped dress was only £10 from primark ages ago and I continue to love it every time I wear it. Normally I'm not a fan of longer-at-the-back-and-shorter-at-the-front but it really works on this dress. I added the same boots as before and stuck with my designer-dupe-bag theme with this Chanel-esque boy bag. I added my navy duster jacket to take the outfit out of the monochrome zone and then finished with Verve lipstick.
