High neck high waist

There's nothing like a classic silhouette and muted colour palette to nail autumn dressing. I love all things high waisted (in fact pretty much all my skirts, shorts, trousers and jeans are high waisted) because I think they're really flattering, especially when paired with a chunky belt like this. I do love these trousers but sometimes I feel like they make me look a bit naked because of the colour. I kept everything else black for a nice bit of contrast with high neck striped top (because autumn is cold so you can't go wrong with a high neck) and black strappy court heels. I love this waterfall black jacket because it's so easy to just throw on over anything but it is only 3/4 sleeves, meaning I won't be able to wear it for much longer (unless I want extremely cold wrists).
