Hey girl it's your birthday

In my last blog post, you'll remember me saying that although life may not have strictly been going to plan lately, that I had loads to look forward to. One thing being Staci's 21st birthday! I love this time of year because everything seems to be happening all at once, 3 out of the 5 of ours birthdays, halloween, bonfire night, christmas and new year all in the space of about 4 months! It was kind of tricky to decide what to wear for last night because when you're going to a party where there's lots of family and then in to town after, there's never going to be an outfit that's suitable for both. So I opted to go dressed for town in this gorgeous missguided dress. I love the duck egg blue colour and slinky feel to it, I felt like a mermaid in it. And while the super low back and cowl neck front are very pretty details, they're not exactly practical so a stick on bra (plus tit tape) was essential! And despite the fact that I ALWAYS wear my trusty boots for nights out, they ruined the effect a bit so I went with actual heels instead. I've also recently dyed my hair a super ashy colour which I am in love with! I've wanted it like this for ages and I finally got it like this using the colour freedom range from superdrug in the shade 'misty grey'. I stuck to my super shimmery theme when it came to my make up; I literally own about 3064 eyeshadow palettes and yet I ended up using one of my highlighters instead! It's just so glittery that it looked gorgeous packed on top of my eyelid. I also didn't go with trusty night out Taupe lipstick for once and I went with my Ginger kylie lip kit instead.

Staci's party was amazing and you could see how much effort her family had put in! There were giant 'Staci 21' balloons, a cute little post box for all her cards, the most beautiful cake ever and a photo frame with funny accessories like these totally chic giant loveheart sunglasses (definitely getting some for next summer). She also loved her presents from all of us; I got her a pandora charm, acrylic makeup storage and a personalised marble phone case. We had such an amazing night, first at the party and then out in town and I love it so much when it's all 5 of us together (which as you know, doesn't happen all too often). Total squad goals if you ask me.
