Triple threat

Okay so I don't think it's any kind of secret by now that I'm not a staying in kind of girl. I love a good night out and the best weekends are the ones that take all week to bounce back from. Like the weekend just gone, for example...

I obviously started on Thursday night (because when do I not go out on a Thursday) with my friends from work. I feel really stuck for going out clothes at the minute because I haven't shopped in a while and I hate feeling like I'm always wearing the same things. But I eventually landed on these pink shorts because they just have such a nice fit to them. I wore them with my black choker vest top (which made a nice low-maintenance change from a bodysuit) and black boots. Make up wise, I went with a blush toned smokey eye by putting Toasted (Naked) over my lid and then blended Cocoa (Lorac pro 2) through my crease and used Black (Lorac pro 1) to darken the outer corners and lower lash line. I added mascara, liner and lashes and went with a pink toned highlight by applying High beam by Benefit with Urban Decay afterglow in Aura over the top, and then finished the look with Taupe lipstick.

Despite feeling very hungover on the Friday, I still jumped at the chance for a girly catch up at the pub with my best friends. I went a lot more casual (so casual I didn't even take a photo) in white high neck sweater dress and converse. For my make up, I did pretty much the same as the night before. Actually that's a lie, I was still wearing my make up from the night before and so I just went over it and added slightly smaller false lashes. Sorry not sorry - I'm a make up sinner. Although this time, I went with Posie K lip kit instead.

I hadn't even really planned to go out Saturday but I got my arm very easily twisted when my friends suggested it so after my driving lesson (yes I am finally learning to drive it's only taken me 3 years to actually bother) I got ready for round 3. I went with more of a gold glowy make up vibe this time (mainly because I normally coordinate my makeup to my outfit and I hadn't decided what to wear yet and gold goes with everything) by applying the shade Gold ironically (Lorac pro 1) all over my lid and then blended Sable (same palette) through my crease. I used Espresso to darken the outer corners and then added some warmth along my lower lashline with Garnet (both also the Lorac pro 1). This time I went with gold toned highlight by applying my Barry M highlight stick and then the gold powder highlight out of my Revolution palette over the top. A trusty favourite, I finished with Taupe lipstick. When I finally did decide what to wear, I went with this khaki playsuit which is actually a primark one! It's amazing quality though, a really nice fit and it was only £10! And so by Sunday it's safe to say that my make up did not look on fleek, I looked very tired and I spent a very hungover shift at work wishing I was in bed!
