OOTD: skirting around
Even though it is now May, meaning we are well into Spring and fast approaching Summer, I still get disapproving looks from strangers for going bare legged and wearing skirts and dresses. I think there's something fundamentally wrong with the British mind set. Anyway, not one to care what other people think, I wear the skirts anyway and this one is definitely one of my wardrobe staples. I think that a black A-line skirt is an essential because it literally goes with everything and works for day, work, evening and anything else in between that you can think of. To keep this outfit casual because I was just going out for dinner and drinks, I added a loose checked shirt and left it untucked with the sleeves rolled up. Then to keep myself from crossing the line into sloppy looking, I added my fiercest pointed stiletto boots. I always like to add atleast a little bit of colour so I wore my favourite ever pink coat and then finished with Soar lip liner.
