Chelsea girl off duty

Every so often I wonder to myself why I don't wear my hair curly more often and so then I do it and then remember why I hardly ever bother. Because it's so much more high maintenance than having straight hair, it gets really tangled and it takes a hell of a lot longer. However, having said all that I do like it on the rare occasions that I can actually be bothered (I'm surprisingly lazy for such a perfectionist) and this was one of them. To go with the whole loose curls look, I went with a Chelsea girl inspired outfit. Although more of an off duty Chelsea girl because of the ripped jeans (river island). I think that either go big or go home so I'm not a massive fan of skinny jeans with a single tear on either knee; either wear jeans that look like they lost in a fight with an angry dog or just wear jeans that aren't ripped at all. Obviously I went with the former in this outfit. I do love these jeans although I sized up so they'd be more of a boyfriend fit and they're actually way too big on the waist so they're always falling down. Which brings me on to why I wore a bodysuit with them rather than a normal top; much more practical for if the jeans start to slip. I love this cowl neck bodysuit (missguided) but it's a bit too revealing worn on its own so I put a little white bralet underneath (also missguided). I balanced up my outfit by matching my shoes to my top with these cute white lace up heels (public desire). I've had them for ages and I've realised that my taste in shoes is getting more and more painful and impractical as time goes on because these are surprisingly comfy. I finished with my burgundy faux fur coat because what Chelsea girl outfit is complete without a little fur?
