37 of my favourites

Not one to normally get on board with monthly favourites blog posts (I think I've done a total of like 3 in the 2 years that I've been keeping my blog), I thought I'd go with more of an all time favourites post. Plus it's been a while since I did a getting-to-know-you post and they're my favourite to write! It's a long one so get comfy...

Favourite film?
I'd have to say either She's the man (Amanda Bynes was so fabulous before she went off the rails) or Dirty Dancing because you just can't beat the classics. FYI I can probably recite the entirety of both of those films to you word for word, that's how many times I've watched them.

Favourite piece of jewellery?
My Marc Jacobs watch or my gold primark earrings that I always wear on nights out. Slight contrast in price between the two.

Favourite number?
4 because it's my lucky number. I also like 13 and I think it has an unfair reputation; it's always been pretty lucky for me.

Favourite season?
Summer without a doubt.

Favourite alcoholic drink?
Prosecco. Champagne if I could afford to drink it regularly.

Favourite non-alcoholic drink?
Orange squash.

Favourite make up item?
Lipstick because I just think it completes any look. I've just counted and I currently own 55 lipsticks. I think I have a problem.

Favourite country?
The US definitely - I really want to live there someday.

Favourite colour?
Pink because I'm just that much of a cliché.

Favourite photo?
This one was pretty hard to pick so I went with my top 3 but I obviously like photos that look kind of candid. Although that jumping one was very obviously posed. Okay maybe not candid, maybe just not Instagram-style pouting bathroom selfies. One of me and grandma laughing together, one of a high-school-musical-style group jump and one of me and my work friends after way too many drinks from the free bar.

Favourite actor?
Johnny Depp is amazing especially in Pirates of the Caribbean and I love Leonardo DiCaprio too.

Favourite perfume?
My NY by DKNY; it's the one that I always wear for a night out.

Favourite piece of clothing?
It may not be something I can wear very often but in terms of the piece that I love the most, it has to be this dress. Wearing an embellished dress just makes you feel amazing like no other clothes can.

Favourite night out?
This will come as no surprise that a Thursday night at Rock city remains my favourite.

Favourite food?
French macarons. I would eat my body weight in them if I could.

Favourite designer?
Those who know me well or read regularly should definitely get this one. Valentino; forever and always.

Favourite past time?
If you've ever scrolled down my instagram then this one should be obvious. My favourite past time is, of course, baking.

Favourite day of the week?
You're probably expecting me to say Saturday (as most people would) but my favourite day is Thursday. On saturday, you have to deal with it being halfway to Monday already but on Thursday you still have the whole weekend to look forward to. I love going out on Thursday nights because once you've recovered from the hangover on friday, you still have your whole weekend ahead of you!

Favourite quote?
"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire" and "Be in love with your life. Every minute of it"

Favourite pizza?
Pizza hut is right up there but Papa John's just beats it to the top spot. Any kind of meat is the winning topping; chicken, bacon, ham, pepperoni.

Favourite age?
I may only have 19 ages to select from but being 18 was my favourite thing ever. I'm pretty sure I'm having a quarter life crisis at the thought of turning 20, is that a thing?

Favourite book?
Unsticky by Sarra Manning which has Fifty shades of grey vibes but with less S&M, more actual storyline and a more likable female character.

Favourite app?
Instagram

Favourite holiday?
This one was really hard to pick because I was stuck between my amazing 3 week tour of America and my messy week in Magaluf and although you may be surprised at my choice, nothing beats your first holiday away without your parents.

Favourite fruit?
Strawberries in summer, satsumas in winter. I know that this is 2016 and we can get all fruits all year round pretty much but they just don't taste as good when they're not in season.

Favourite actress?
It has to be Jennifer Aniston, the one and only.

Favourite song?
Mambo number 5. Anyone who has ever been on a night out with me should know this because I make a point of telling them it's my favourite whenever it comes on #sorrynotsorry.

Favourite cocktail?
Pornstar martini

Favourite shop?
Missguided. Bet that one shocked you all. Not.

Favourite sport?
Beer pong. And even that's a sport (term used loosely here) I don't play properly because I don't like beer so I use an assortment of other drinks. I'm not even sorry.

Favourite hangover cure?
Most of my hangovers consist of throwing up for 12 hours straight but on the rare occasions that I can actually eat, a subway is my favourite hangover cure.

Favourite month of the year?
June because it's my birthday month and because it's the start of summer.

Favourite animal?
It's a pretty boring one but it has to be cat. I could definitely end up as a crazy cat lady if I'm not careful.

Favourite make up brand?
That's hard because I have different favourites for different things. MAC for lipsticks, Lorac for eyeshadows and Rimmel for everything else.

Favourite Disney princess?
Belle because she's smart and independent and fiesty and doesn't let any man tell her what to do. I like to think she's the Disney princess that I'm most like but realistically I'm probably more of a Tinkerbell because if she doesn't get enough attention then she dies.

Favourite restaurant?
Tropeiro, Prezzo or La Tasca; it depends what kind of food I'm most in the mood for.

Favourite TV series?
Gossip girl has to be my all time favourite, closely followed by Friends and then The Vampire Diaries (although season 7 has gone totally downhill). I'm also obsessed with Pretty Little Liars, Once upon a time and The originals. Okay I need to get some more hobbies.
