A dream come shoe
What's a girl to do when her hair looks a mess and her roots desperately need doing but her hairdresser isn't available for another 4 weeks? Basically I am letting you know now that I am not neglecting myself and I'm warning you that these roots are gonna have to get worse before they get better. Oh and also, if you're wondering why some of these photos are at a weird angle, I think I must've kicked my tripod. Basically, I just really need to get my life together don't I? At least no matter what happens, like Carrie Bradshaw, I am sure to be wearing fabulous shoes. I did pretty well shoe-wise in the post-Christmas sales because these babies were only £16! They are hard to walk in but they're not uncomfortable so that's a big bonus. Plus they are ridiculously pretty, I feel like a statement pair of shoes like these need a pretty simple outfit to go with them so I went with a roll neck long sleeve LBD (little black dress, for anyone living under a rock who hadn't heard the term before). I don't care that it's January and threatening snow every day, if I want to wear a dress with bare legs then I shall. That's just how much of an independent woman I am - even the weather can't tell me what to do. I'm not totally stupid though so I obviously wore a coat; this tan one matched part of the leopard print in the shoes nicely. I finished with my tan Olivia Burton watch and Velvet Teddy lipstick.

I thought I'd helpfully give you two options with this one. I bought these shoes for only £16 down from £50 in the New Look sale but they're now sadly sold out. I did find the exact same pair on ASOS but they're still full price so if you want a cheaper version then I've found you that too (because I'm nice like that).
