3 ways to wear: rocking it in rust
No I haven't ditched the blonde hair already, but I've had these photos saved up and I really loved the outfits so I didn't want to ditch them just for the sake of the wrong coloured hair. We may be going deeper into winter now but I still think that the Autumnal colours are the way to go and my absolute favourite is rust right now. So I thought I'd put together 3 different rusty looks; one for going out, one for day time and one for the office (although it may actually be a bit cold for the day time look without black tights now).
For going out
These topshop shorts are one half of a co-ord and they're probably my current favourites in my night-out wardrobe. They literally go with so many different colours; black, white, pink, khaki, taupe, nude. And of course rust, as demonstrated here. I'm not feeling tiny skimpy tops on nights out right now because even that short walk from taxi-to-bar-to-bar is too much of an opportunity to get cold so I like having my shoulders covered. Which is why this rust new look crop top is perfect - I also love the slight high neck. I finished the outfit with strappy pointed-toe heels and YSL Rouge volupte lipstick in shade 03.
For a day time look
Okay so maybe not totally weather appropriate for right now but you could always add black tights and black boots instead of these beautiful white lace up heels (public desire) to winterize it. This rust skirt is a lovely A-line style from new look and I loved it so much that I also bought it in black (because that's just what I do). I paired it with this long sleeved striped top from miss selfridge, and although I didn't add a coat for the photo, I am not a maniac and I obviously would add one if I was wearing this outfit to go out (it is December now after all).
For the office
You know that bit where I just said I also had the skirt in black? Well in case you couldn't picture it, I thought I'd show it you. I love this style of wearing a black skirt with black thigh high boots (new look). The main rust part of this outfit was this gorgeous coat (also new look) but there was also a hint of rust in this striped topshop wrap top. If I was actually heading to the office then I'd finish the look with Paramount lipstick.
