What a culotte of autumn colours
Again, just to reiterate that I'm putting off wearing black tights as long possible; I'm having to be inventive with my outfit choices because with all the cold and rainy weather, I don't want people to think I've gone mad if I wear something too summery looking. So culottes are a pretty good choice! Not quite trousers but no need for black tights, they show the exact right amount of leg. I could probably do with investing in some plain black, neutral or colour block culottes because I really love the shape and fit but these are such statement pair (from missguided) that I can't get away with wearing them very often. Although I do love them (despite them being referred to as my 'circus trousers') - they're just the nicest warmest shade of burnt orange. I wore them with this plain dark grey roll neck top (new look), layered under my black primark duster jacket which matches the stripes on the culottes. I did try the outfit with a pair of daintier, more strappy shoes but because of the wide legs and high neck, it just made the whole thing look unbalanced. So instead, I went for these super tall, nice and chunky crocodile print heels that I got from river island and then finished the whole thing off with Paramount lipstick. I'm loving dark autumnal shades at the minute; Paramount, Film Noir and Sin (all MAC) are my personal faves.
