Thursday is the new friday

I think that 'thursday is the new friday' is probably written into my DNA somewhere. And so I didn't want to let the occasion go by without a quick little GRWM blogpost (especially since I liked my makeup and wanted to share with you). I haven't worn these leather shorts in a while and I don't really know how I let myself forget about them; they're from missguided and I just love the style and fit of them. Also, it doesn't matter if drinks get spilled on them because you don't have to worry about it staining/ruining the fabric. Stylish AND practical! I wore them with this high neck monochrome striped top which was from new look and these black boots from public desire which seem to be falling into the role of my new wear-with-everything going out boots. If you read my blogpost from the other week, you'll know of my heartbreak at my trusty old favourites finally dying on me. Well they were bound to sooner or later I guess, and these ones are just as comfy. For my makeup, I started with Champagne (Lorac 1) over my lid and then blended the reddish shade from my 17 jewel palette through my crease and along my lower lashline. I then darkened my crease a little more with Sable (Lorac 1) and then added real definition in the outer corners with Black (Lorac 1 again). I added black pencil eyeliner along my waterline, felt tip eyeliner across my upper lashline and then finished with false lashes. I also wore Taupe which is my all time favourite MAC lipstick and will have to be replaced very soon.
