Getting shirty
This outfit was a bit of a random mish-mash of colours but in a good way (well I liked it anyway). I really like the length and style of this khaki shirt dress and even though I don't particularly like the sleeves, I bought it anyway because it was only £15 in the H&M sale so it was pretty hard to resist. I've been loving shirt dresses at the minute because I think they're really chic and easy to wear to either work, lunch or shopping (my 3 main past times. The 4th being Netflix which requires pyjamas rather than actual clothes); the only problem is because they're made of this thin crepe fabric, they crease super easily. Like if you sit down in the same place for longer than 10 minutes then it will actually look like you've worked hard to put creases in it on purpose. The dress did come with a fabric belt in the same colour but I wanted to break it up and accentuate my waist more with this black belt - that also matched my new Public Desire boots. I added this mauve duster jacket which I love because it's super long and has this side split detail which I think is really unique. It was only like £35 from missguided too although it is quite thin so I don't think it will take me through winter very well. Staying on the vaguely purple theme, I wanted a really blue toned pink lipstick to complete the outfit but I didn't have one (when I find one, that's going straight in my basket). So instead, I wore Classic Rose by No7 and then added Up the amp by MAC over the top to add some cool tones.
