Tuesdays child is full of grace

This is a weird one for me - usually the OOTD's that I blog about are on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and any days off because those are the days when I work at UNiDAYS and can therefore dress nicely. On the other days, I work at McDonalds and so I'm pretty sure after one post about that outfit I'd pretty much have it covered (spoiler alert: it's ugly). But yesterday, I went straight out after work to have drinks for Katie's birthday and I didn't exactly want to rock up in my uniform. Getting ready at work was a novel experience; we have hair straighteners at work which I was a bit apprehensive about using. Once I was actually ready, I was wearing this striped wrap blouse which is one of my current favourites. It was from topshop and I just love the autumnal colours, although the structure is a bit weird like there's a big gathering of fabric at the front (where it crosses over) which doesn't really sit right. I wore it with these topshop jeans and my all-time-favourite black caged heels (new look). I matched my jacket to my shoes with this black crepe duster coat - yes I finally have a black coat in my collection. Apparently my spending habits meant that I couldn't hold off until payday and I went to primark last week and bought the taupe coat in my previous blogpost as well as this one which was only £23!!! Leaving work in heels and Taupe lipstick, it's safe to say I looked a little out of place and possibly like I didn't understand the jobs dress code.
