Baresca in brown
I've decided to rework my blog a little bit because creating 4-photo images was affecting the quality but I feel like the whole collage thing is my style now because I've done it from the beginning so I've changed it to 3-pose-photos per image, with 2 of those per outfit. So I'll have to get more creative with poses I guess. I am literally so head-over-heels for this outfit that I wore out to a tapas lunch with Laura the other day; I told you chocolate brown was my new-season favourite. In fact, I featured this top (missguided) in my new season lust-have blogpost that you can catch up on by clicking the link. It's an interesting twist style which is longer at the back; I'm obsessed with long sleeves and v-neck styles (with or without lace-up details) right now so you can see why I would love this so much. And it was under £20! Brown is a surprisingly difficult colour to match but I opted for this grey zip-up skirt (also missguided), which is an A-line style and has cute side pockets. I added my favourite strappy black pointed toe heels (new look) which matched the black on the zip of the skirt, but they probably wouldn't match the top otherwise. I felt like the outfit really needed a jacket but I didn't have one that matched because all that would really go would be a black jacket. Among my massive coat collection, I actually don't have a black jacket! Payday must-have number 1...
We had the nicest lunch at Baresca, which is a cute little tapas place up in the Lace Market and I had the nicest cocktail - raspberry daiquiri made with coconut rum rather than normal rum. Day-drinking is totally normal and widely acceptable as long as you do it with food.
