Michelle keegan made me do it
I mentioned in a previous blogpost that I haven't even looked on the topshop website in a long time but I was forced to go and browse when I saw Michelle Keegan in a striped navy white and khaki drape blouse that was from topshop and I desperately wanted it. I eventually found it in the sale for only £12 and bought it, only to be emailed saying my transaction had been cancelled because it was out of stock - most annoying thing ever! But seeing as I was already on the website, I had a look through everything and fell totally in love with this top, similiar to the one I originally wanted. Annoyingly, this one was not in the sale and was still £32. So Michelle Keegan's influence was both a good and bad thing - if I hadn't gone on the website then my wardrobe would be one more beautiful top down but my bank account would be up by £32. I'm going to choose to see the top as a more valuable asset than the money (I do this often, which is probably why I always have wardrobes bursting at the seams and an empty bank account). I love the colours in this top and it perfectly matched my favourite cream trousers (missguided), which I wore turned up with my pointed toe strappy new look heels. I finished the outfit with my Marc Jacobs watch and khaki duster coat (missguided), as well as velvet teddy lipstick.
