Suit-able for summer? Maybe not...
Yesterday was officially the hottest day of the year so far aswell as the hottest July day on record which sent our country into melt down. Quite literally. Getting the bus to and from work was the most unpleasant thing ever; it was hot, sweaty and there was zero airflow. But it could've been worse - I could've been working at mcdonalds yesterday instead of my internship! Because I was at my internship, I went with a smart-but-summery outfit which unfortunately turned out to be a not very wise choice. The jacket made me feel like I was being roasted and the heels were a bad choice too. Nevertheless, the outfit still looked nice which is the most important thing (even if I did fear that I would pass out from the heat). This cute little pink and white short suit set was from primark just over a year ago and it was only about £25 for the whole thing I think! I wore it with a white cami layered underneath (topshop) and then my nude and white caged heels (new look). I also added my Michael Kors watch and pink flower stud earrings and sunnies of course, which were absolutely essential! The hot weather yesterday (it was actually hotter in Nottingham than in Zante) would've been amazing if I could've spent the whole thing sunbathing in my garden (like I did the second I got home), but instead I had to spend it melting in my office. In fact the whole country went into meltdown (pun intended) over the hot weather. We Brits actually reminded me of Olaf from Frozen - we spend all our time waiting for summer and then can't cope when it actually arrives. Ice cream was 100% necessary to make it more enjoyable.
