Monochrome and magic mike

You will have seen this dress (new look) before in a few autumn/winter posts and because I'm used to previously wearing it winterized with black tights and coats, I never realised how short it actually was. Luckily it's bodycon so the wind wasn't a danger to me but I still got some funny looks from the pervy alcoholics down in Hockley near where my office is. You know that nothing can sway me on my love of dogtooth though - that's a love affair that's been going strong for the entire year and a half that I've been keeping this blog. I wore it with this white duster jacket (primark) which is made of a thin crepe fabric and has 3/4 sleeves so it's ideal for when the sun disappears (as it does very often in England in the summer). I finished with my favourite pointed toe strappy heels (new look) and then my Olivia Burton watch and Chanel liquid-to-matte lipstick in the shade True beige. And then once I was finished at work, I went for some much need mother-daughter-time with my mum - first stop cocktails at Revolution and then second stop Magic Mike XXL at the cinema. It's weird that the first film came out a whole 3 years ago (seriously where has that time gone) and yet Channing Tatum still looks just as hot. Although he is starting to look older; that's probably down to the fact that he's a daddy now (him and his wife Jenna have such a strong gene pool that they're kids were always bound to be beyond beautiful). I did miss Alex Pettyfer, who wasn't in the sequel and was my favourite from the first film (claim to fame: he's retweeted me on twitter before), but Joe Manganiello more than made up for it. He actually manages to make Channing Tatum look short and out of shape, that's how incredible his body is. And his scene at the gas station is probably the best part of the film. The second film is much funnier and lighter than the first film and it's a definite must-see, even if you haven't watched the original film.
