GRWM: Bringing thursdays back

This thursday was back to rock city for me after a whole week off *shocker* (which I spent at turtle bay instead having dinner and cocktails). I raided my wardrobes and wore these shorts that I haven't worn in ages; they were from topshop and I think they were originally black and white but my mum must've done some dodgy laundry because they're now black and baby pink. It's a good job I like baby pink and the shorts still match this black new look top that I wore them with. The photo doesn't really show it properly but the top has cut-out sections round the shoulders which are a nice added detail to an otherwise plain black top (I also really like the sleeve length). I finished with black boots, black bag and lots of gold rings and then kept my makeup pretty neutral. This classic smokey eye is pretty much a go to look for me because it goes with everything but I use a Champagne coloured base instead of grey or silver because I think it's much more tonal and adds a nice highlight. Then I added dark grey through my crease and black round my outer corners as you normally would with a smokey eye. Then I added a splash of colour with Twig lipstick, which is still one of my favourites. One final note - please don't ask me about the sex positions poster on the back of my bedroom door. It was bought for me as a joke for my 17th birthday and I always seem to accidentally get it in my selfies (oops).
