Party like there's no tomorrow
I don't think I could've picked a better way to spend my last weekend as an 18 year old (*cries at the prospect of not being 18 anymore*) than by spending it at No Tomorrow festival. My local 2-day (but non camping) festival was £65 for the weekend ticket and it was sunny the whole time we were there!! Well it was ridiculously windy to the point where food and drink was getting blown over but it didn't rain which is the main thing! I wore my hair curly all weekend (which you probably haven't seen before because I realised that I haven't worn it like this in about a year and a half) and accessorised my makeup with gems above my eyebrow and glitter round my eyes. On the saturday, I went with a golden eye makeup look and coral lips using No7 Ginger rose, and I wore this beautiful white lace-up playsuit which was around £30 from missguided. It maybe wasn't the wisest choice for a festival because of going to the toilet but it was too pretty not to wear. I added my Timberlands and a mushroom coloured bucket bag (primark) and then finished with black primark sunglasses. The best set of the day was DJ fresh by far, but we also saw Karen Harding, Hannah Wants, Blonde and Jessie Ware and they were all amazing. Although Jessie Ware wasn't upbeat enough to close the night in my opinion and they should've swapped her spot with DJ fresh.
On the second day, I went with typical festival fabrics by wearing this crochet high neck top from missguided, paired with zebra print runner shorts (primark) and then a shirt over the top (missguided) for when the sun went in later on. Again I wore my Timberlands, the same primark bag, a different pair of primark sunnies and then I did silver and grey toned eye makeup with pink lips using No7 Soft earth. I actually thought I wouldn't enjoy the second day as much because I was feeling tired and rough after the first day but Sunday was the better day by far. We saw MNEK, Gorgon city, John Newman and Philip George; who waved to us, and all his friends and family who we were with, as he came off stage after his set, and some girl screamed excitedly 'Oh my god, Philip George just waved at me!' - awkward. John Newman was a much better headline act than Jessie Ware and his set was incredible. Katie and Katie both spent his entire performance on various peoples shoulders and we got a we-want-john chant going through the crowd when he pretended to go off stage before doing a couple of his best songs. Overall it was an amazing weekend - June is shaping up to be a pretty good month!
