I've been really sloppy with my blog over the last week because I've been really busy and then really poorly (feel free to feel sorry for me) but it's time for me to get back on track! I sorted through all my birthday presents a few days ago (I know, I was late doing it) and among them was this gorgeous Chanel liquid-to-matte lipstick with glossy top coat in the shade Intense beige that was a present from my lovely bestie Laura all the way from New York. It's a really nice nude colour with purple under tones and it lasts a ridiculous amount of time (I had to seriously scrub with a makeup wipe at the end of the day to get it off). It also matched my outfit; I wore this berry coloured v-neck top (new look) with my checked primark trousers. I think that khaki and berry go really nicely together so I wore my khaki duster coat (missguided) over the top and then completed the outfit with grey strappy barely-there heels (new look).

I got really spoilt this year (well I get really spoilt every year but still) and I got some beautiful things but sometimes it's the smaller unexpected gifts that you love the most. Like this one-line-a-day 5 year memory book or this cute 'never let anyone dull your sparkle' room sign. Or this really cool frog-to-prince; it's a frog and then you add water and it dissolves away into a mini prince who then grows! If you don't think that's cool then I'm worried about you...
