I've obviously got some kind of personality disorder where I buy a coat I like and then wear it every day until I have to physically force myself to wear one of the many others in my collection. This khaki duster coat (missguided £40) is my current favourite and once again, I wore stripes underneath it in yesterdays OOTD. I love this top (new look) that I've had for absolutely ages because I think 3/4 sleeves are the most flattering kind and it's a slightly cropped style so it works well with high waisted trousers. This particular pair were from missguided and are a serious favourite of mine because I love the fit and despite them being camel coloured, they're actually not see-through. My snake print shoes really hurt my toes when I wore them the other day so I thought I'd give my feet a break and go with boots instead. I love this crocodile pair because they're a high platform heel so they not only make you look sassier when you walk down the street (#vogue) but they also help to make your feet look smaller, which is a serious bonus for someone with clown feet like me. It was my mums birthday so after work, we had a family get together, which of course, included my best friend Lauren. I read a tumblr post about the different stages of friendship, the highest one being 'I'm with your parents are you joining us?' and I realised that me and Lauren are even closer than that. We're at the point now where she'll come round and just see my parents for about an hour before even coming to say hello to me, meaning my mum often finds out her gossip before I do! So anyway, mum opened presents and we drank a lot of wine and ate WAY too much food, including these uh-mazing chocolate chip cookie dough stuffed cupcakes that I made the other night. If you want to give them a try for yourself, you can find the recipe here. Just a little tip; it's much harder than you'd realise to cut out the cake to put the cookie dough in (but so worth it when you get round to eating it)!
