It's been so long since I've been able to do a blogpost that even closely resembles a haul that it feels really nice to do one again! Not that there's exactly loads in it but I've finally bought new things! It has been fun recycling all my old clothes and creating new outfits from them while I've been paying my holiday off but I'm pretty sure it's going to be more fun buying loads of new ones now that my holidays finally paid. I go through phases of what kind of clothes I buy, based on what I feel is lacking from my wardrobe. Apparently right now it's tops (note the play on words in the title) because I felt the need to go and buy 5 new ones last week. But in my defense they were all relatively cheap and so I didn't even spend that much! I think my favourite one was this one (above) that I got from river island for £20. And to say that it was the joint most expensive one, you can tell I really didn't spend my usual OTT amount. It's such a beautiful shiny fine-knit fabric and I love this 90s racer style neckline on myself because I like my shoulders/collar bone. In fact I've only just realised that every single top I bought has this same neck line style, so I'm obviously a big fan.

Also from river island, I've had my eye on this one for a while now. I originally saw it online but I thought that the asymmetric neckline looked like it slanted down too low and so you wouldn't be able to wear a bra with it but when I tried it on it fitted perfectly. I love pretty much anything with mesh paneling or inserts and I love this black and white print that river island have featured throughout a lot of their current collection. I expected this top to be atleast £20 but it was only £16 so I couldn't resist!

I bought this cute little new look number based purely on the colour. As you know by now, I go through colour-loving-phases and right now I think it's rust. It sounds like a weird colour to love, but this rusty kindof dark pink colour is just perfect for spring/summer and I think you can never really have enough plain tops, especially when I have so many printed shorts and skirts that I'm forever struggling to find things to wear with them. Plus it was only £4.99 - such a bargain!

This was another new look bargain at only £5.99 and it was part of Sundays OOTD blogpost. I've got a thing for stripes at the moment I think and this top fits nicely into my stripy top collection.

I personally don't like the 70s revival fashion that is EVERYWHERE right now because it's too casual and boho for my taste, but I will make an exception when it comes to festivals because I think boho and festivals go together like champagne and strawberries. I've only got one festival planned so far and it's not a camping one, but I'll get into the spirit all the same. Starting with buying this crochet knitted crop top from missguided for £20. I might even stretch to buying something in a 70s print to wear with it.
