OOTD: meshy monochrome

I am ridiculously opinionated, both in my personal life and on my blog and so you can pretty much guarantee that I have a strong opinion on every piece of clothing, person, world issue or food that I've ever come across. As a blogger, I always try to be honest about those opinions (which is why I often have to include #sorrynotsorry) because I can't stand bloggers who write rave reviews about not very nice clothes clearly because they've been sponsored to do so. It's one of the reasons that Victoria from inthefrow is my favourite (along with Sarah Ashcroft); because she's always completely honest about products and restaurants even if she has to give negative reviews sometimes. So my honest opinion about this outfit is that I went with the wrong shoes. I should've gone with higher heels. In fact that's pretty much my whole philosophy in life - always wear high heels. Keep your heels, head and standards high (okay so that one might of been by Coco Chanel but it still gets my point across). Although I do love these public desire beauties that I got about a year ago, they didn't really go with the floaty fabric and midi length skirt. I love all the separate components of this outfit, just maybe not all together at the same time. This skirt was from primark and I just love walking down the street in it feeling like Carrie Bradshaw. I paired it with one of my new tops from river island; I love the racer style and the mesh inserts, plus it was only £16! I added my khaki duster coat (missguided) over the top and then finished with my Marc Jacobs watch.
