Girls just wanna have fun

It seems like 5 minutes since the last bank holiday and already another one has been and gone - and the next one isn't far off either! Again, me and the girls went out in long eaton and I broke the girl code; I broke the boobs-or-legs rule. Oh well, my shorts weren't tight fitting so it's not as bad. And contrary to the belief of my manager Gary, they are definitely not hot pants. My shorts were from topshop and if they look familiar then that's because I also have the trousers in the same print that I wore on thursday. I wore them with this white missguided bralet and my go-to black boots (new look) and then accessorised with lots of rings and black stud earrings. I went for a bronzed golden goddess makeup look with a dark nude lip. I started with Gold from my Lorac palette as my base over my eyelid and along my entire lower lashline. I added Garnet (also Lorac palette) through my crease and blended it upwards and then added it to the outer parts of my lower lash line. I used Half baked from my Naked palette in the inner corners and the inner part of my lower lashline, as well as round my tear duct as a highlight. I finished with Sable (Lorac palette) through my crease and round the outer corners to add extra definition and then completed the look with winged eyeliner and black pencil eyeliner along my water line, as well as mascara and lashes. For the dark nude lip, I used Taupe by MAC which is one of my favourite shades. Oh and I think I have a drinking problem. Or atleast that's what the bartender thought of us when we ordered a bottle of wine each with only 10 minutes left until last orders. I can promise you it's really not that easy to drink wine that fast. And then we had a nightmare because our pre-booked taxis were 15 minutes late so we filled the waiting time by taking group photos on self timer (*insert sassy emoji here*).

Then with Spring bank holiday came a huge Spring clean, which included cleaning the outsides of my windows and dusting all my nail varnishes because my mum is even more OCD than me and has been nagging non stop all week. Although she's no evil step mother, I did feel a lot like Cinderella. Cinderella has always been the Disney princess I identified the least with; I mean I love sleeping like Aurora, I'm clumsy like Mulan, strong like Pocahontas, sassy like Jasmine, materialistic like Ariel and a frosty bitch like Elsa but the only thing I have in common with Cinderella is her love for shoes. Obviously the princess I feel like I'm most like is Belle - she loves reading, she actually gets along with her parents (whereas most disney princesses don't), she's brunette with brown eyes, she's a little fiesty and she doesn't scare easily. I love Beauty and the beast too because I think it's the most classic love story of a good girl who finds adventure with a bad boy and a bad boy who reforms for the good girl; an angel drawn to the dark side and a devil redeemed (I have to get my gossip girl quotes in where I can). It's a story that you can see again and again through TV history; chuck and blair, nathan and haley, damon and elena. Whereas Cinderella kissed a guy at midnight and then lost her shoe - in real life that's called a typical drunken night out!
